South African physical asset management company, Pragma, today announced that it has purchased Deltek Maconomy for more than 200 users. Pragma will use this solution to optimise its client services and internal operations.
Deltek Maconomy is an enterprise software solution that offers industry-specific capabilities for consulting-focused companies. This solution integrates client management, time and expense registration, project and contract management, financial management, human resources, workflow, as well as business reporting and follow-up. Pragma World will use the solution to manage its back office and complete external projects on time and on budget. Additionally, Deltek’s consulting-focused solution connects directly to Microsoft Outlook, a functionality that is important to Pragma’s business operations.
“We were looking for a system to help us implement organisation-wide standards and centralise our client and project/contract management,” said Adriaan Scheeres CEO of Pragma. “We wanted a fully integrated, end-to-end business solution that would support our growth, but it had to be a solution that was uncomplicated to implement and use. After a thorough evaluation, we chose Deltek Maconomy because it offered proven capabilities that fit our business out of the box with very limited customisation required. That means the implementation process will be focused on value optimisation and efficiency.”
“Our solution provides the integrated functionality Pragma needs, so we can focus on achieving Pragma’s key organisational objectives during the implementation, rather than simply implementing functionality,” says Lars Dyrlov Madsen, Channel Director for Deltek in South Africa. “We are excited to work with such a dynamic company as we continue to extend our reach into the South African and Brazilian markets.”
Pragma provides efficient and effective enablement of asset management business processes and improves asset performance to enable its clients’ businesses to operate at optimum levels. The company has had over 480 different clients over the years, with a strong presence in Africa and South America. After significant growth, Pragma decided to strengthen its internal business processes and client delivery capabilities and selected Deltek Maconomy following a recommendation from an external consulting firm.
